Mail Forwarding
As of 01 October 2007, we are not accepting new mail forwarding clients. All our boxes are taken. To be placed on our waiting list, please go to the Contact Us page and email us your information.
Don't want certain people, creditors or businesses to know your physical address? Want another address, but don't have time to check a post office box? Going to be away on an extended vacation or temporary job assignment? Then our mail forwarding services are right for you. Your mail comes to a physical address, not a P.O. box.
There are two options for mail fowarding.
Option #1
Fee: PIECE-BY-PIECE - $2.00 per piece mailed in the US (Rates will be higher for international customers. Email us for a quote.)
We forward each piece of mail separately as we receive it. When you have mail, we will email you with the number of pieces and your total. Once we receive your payment, we will forward your mail. You may prepay up to $100.00 to guarantee that there are no delays in receiving your mail. We'll let you know when the money on your account gets low. Our mail forwarding service is only for postcards, letter mail and magazines.
Option #2
Fee: CUSTOM SERVICE - $8.00 per Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope mailed in the US (Rates will be higher for international customers. Email us for a quote.)
With the custom option, the frequency of mail forwarding depends on your needs. Ultimately, your costs will be based on the quantity of Priority Mail Flat-Rate envelopes that are mailed, which means that you may only have one weekly or 2 or 3 bimonthly or 4 or 5 monthly or less in all cases. You can even choose the option to forward-upon-request, which means you would email us and ask for a count of your mail pieces & we'd email you back letting you know you have, for example, 15 pieces of mail for forwarding; you could then decide to wait for more or you could tell us to forward what we have now. For a preset forwarding schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, every three months), mail is forwarded on Saturdays.
If you were expecting one important piece of mail, you could also ask to have that one piece mailed right away without mailing the other pieces. The rate would simply be the piece-by-piece mailing rate.
If you have no mail, there's nothing to pay. When you have mail, we will email you with the number of flat rate envelopes and your total. Once we receive your payment, we will forward your mail for the week. You may prepay up to $100.00 to guarantee that there are no delays in receiving your mail. Set-up Fee
There is a one-time, non-refundable $25.00 set-up fee for each name/business, which means you must be pre-approved to use our mail forwarding service. This set-up fee is to get your name/business added to our forwarding service. If you have more than one name/business set up with us, they will all have the same street address (1966 Daniel Stuart Square), but it is possible that they may not all have the same suite number (#111). We will email you the exact address for each name/business. You may also specifically request a different suite number for each name/business. This will require a $50.00 set-up fee per name/business.
How To Get Started
You must first go to the post office or the United States Postal Service's website (http://www.usps.com) and pick up/download PS Form 1583, which is the Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent form. Completing this form allows Remail4U to act as your Commercial Mail Receiving Agency.
Before you can complete blocks 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d, you will have had to have paid us your set-up fee, so that we can release your mailing address to you. This information cannot be left blank, as you will be having this form notarized before sending it to us.
You must send the notarized PS Form 1583, along with copies of two photo IDs. Because you will not be in the presence of a Remail4U associate when you sign the PS Form 1583, we require that you sign the form in the presence of a notary. Remail4U does not make exceptions in this area. Forms that are sent without notary information, will not be accepted.
